What is a B-BBEE certificate?

A Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is a socio-economic process that directly contributes to the economic transformation of South Africa by increasing the number of Black people that manage, own and control the country’s economy, and diminishing income inequalities. The B-BBEE certificate is a document that indicates a company’s level of BEE compliance. A level one contributor, which Pepperl+Fuchs South Africa awarded, is the highest achievable status. The lowest level of BEE compliance is level eight.
